2017 is going to be the most hectic year for me! As I get into the final phase of my post graduation, and as the blog gets bigger and better, my commitments have been piling on! More often than not, I’ll be rushing to blogger events directly from college, giving me no time to change multiple outfits.
You may all know by now that I am obsessed with bodycon dresses, and since I have been recently picked as a style expert by Flipkart I had to fill my fashion store with tons of bodycon dresses for you to choose from. Bodycon dresses are easy to style, and look glamorous when paired with some sparkle; so let me tell you how I take my bodycon from day to night, in two simple steps.
I picked this burnt orange bodycon last week to wear to college on a particularly manic day. For the first look I kept it super simple with just my white sneakers and a matching watch. This works best, cause I am too sleepy to think of innovative pairings in the morning. The best part of a good bodycon dress is that it won’t crease easily even if you wear it all day.
For a night out, I bring out all my glamour in this sequined jacket. The high-heeled boots add to the sophisticated look I am going for. Just two simple steps to take your look from girl next door to a fashionista!
So this is a shout out to all those busy girls out there who are juggling a hectic day: let the bodycon be your new best friend, you won’t regret it.
Hey so I’ve styled these two tops from the vvv brand in my own way of statement , and it had to be layering and pairing up with skirts , as below in the pictures ,
For the first look I paired this yellow barot top with a floral multicoloured skirt which I got from reliance trends a year back , I think such skirts could be worn in any coloured top and multicoloured wedges from Paio , which I got customised and matched this look well , and also vvv brand has plenty of colors and styles in crop tops , which can be mixed and matched well For look 2 , I’ve paired the halter neck top with a lighter shade of pink skirt which I got from koovs sale , and it’s a complete style for about rs 495 and it was actually priced at about rs 795! And also layered with this tassel panelled shrug from the USA , a store , long time back and also white heeled shoes from streetstylestore.com The final look had to be a shirt dress which I love during all seasons and this had a frill detailing over the bottom and the perfect length went for the same shoes , like the previous look Shot at Hab , in Bandra by ankit_alive (Instagram) http://www.ankitworld.com , The Hab, a short form for haberdashery, is a first of its kind store in India aimed at making sewing a trendy concept.
