FASHOM is a global mobile social platform that celebrates self-love through everyday unique styles of real people around the world. This community we’re building is about sharing and exploring global fashion by real people — no filters, no photoshop, no retouching.

Last evening an exciting day-long event was concluded by Fashom in association with the fiercely opinionated and renowned celebrity hair-stylist Sapna Moti Bhavnani. Fashom organized this special day to celebrate ‘inner beauty’ and fearlessness to express one’s real self incorporating one’s own beauty trends. Held at Sapna’s very own salon, MadOWot in Bandra, Mumbai, 40 real women came together to spread the message of body confidence and self love in Mumbai.

This event marked the launch of #BreakingBeautyWithFashom, a revolutionary international campaign by Fashom. Intended to break set standards of beauty and celebrate one’s real self, this campaign aims to spread images of real people sporting unconventional beauty or hair looks, for example, imagine red coloured fringes or colourful eyebrows or asymmetrical bangs on the forehead etc.

At the day long celebration, girls were seen breaking barriers to celebrate their own sense of beauty with Sapna Moti Bhavnani’s expert advice including services such as coloured fringes, fades on men/women, undercuts, rainbow freckles, coloured eyelashes and much more. The evening concluded with a celebration of self expression, fearlessness and body confidence.

Speaking about the illustrious launch of this new campaign and breaking beauty barriers in India, Ms. Mitali Saxena, CEO & Founder of Fashom said“We are delighted to associate with someone as incredible and creative as Sapna Moti Bhavnani at her salon MadOWot in Mumbai. Our ideologies are similar, we promote body confidence and self love and are thrilled to host this event to spread the message of #BreakingBeautyWithFashom. With Fashom we hope that girls across the nation and the world embrace themselves for who they are and continue to follow their own trends.”

Celebrity hairstylist and founder of MadOWot Salon, Sapna Moti Bhavnani adds, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this event with Fashom to break barriers of beauty and what is considered the norm. #BreakingBeautyWithFashom is all about incorporating one’s own trends, being confident, celebrating your body and voicing your own opinion!
